Julia, the author of the blog, Technology in the Education Arena, and I have spent a long time considering this issue. We based most of our thinking on David Warlick's Code of Ethics and the concerns of the teachers we work with. I just finished attending the MassCUE conference and a number of sessions by David Warlick. He is very eloquent on the subject. It might be worth a look at what he has to say.
